Eleazar Guerra passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2025, at a nursing home in Falfurrias, Texas at the age of 90. He was born on July 24, 1934, to Jose Maria Guerra and Herminia Gonzalez in Rancherias, Tamaulipas, Mexico. Eleazar worked in the plants as an insulator and pipefitter. He was also a plumber until his retirement.
Eleazar was preceded in death by his parents.
He leaves behind his wife, Cesaria Guerra of Falfurrias; sons, Javier Guerra of Falfurrias and Jose Maria Guerra (Claudia) of Edinburg, Texas; daughters, Elvira Guerra Page (Jeff) of Austin, Texas and Elia Guerra (Steve Dornbusch) of Corpus Christi, Texas; sister, Evangelina Hasbun of La Grulla, Texas; five grandchildren, Gabriella Venne, Liliana Venne, Sofia Guerra, Matthew Page and Keemo Saldana and many extended family members.
A visitation for Eleazar will be held Saturday, February 1, 2025, from 9:30 AM with some Words of Remembrance starting at 11:00 AM at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams in Falfurrias, Texas. Burial will follow at the Falfurrias Burial Park.
