

Eleazar passed away on Wednesday morning April 30, 2025. He lived an extraordinary life full of love and compassion for his family and fellow man. He was preceded in death by his parents, Guadalupe and Ernesto Moreno of Oilton, Texas. He was raised there with his 9 siblings; preceded in death by brothers Adan Moreno and Ernesto Moreno and sister Elena Boleware. He is survived by sisters Esther Munoz, Enedina Villarreal, Genoveva Moreno, Elizabeth Whitehurst and Sandra Haire; brother, Rosendo Moreno. Ele expanded his loving family by joining Rosa Moreno in marriage and having a wonderful life together for over 56 years until her passing. While married, they raised their son, Eleazar Moreno, Jr. He loved and enjoyed his son’s family, wife Rebecca C. Moreno and his two grandchildren, Christopher and Rebecca E. Moreno with all his heart. He loved participating in their school activities and extracurricular activities until his passing. A few years after the passing of the love of his life Rosa, he did find love again with Elisa Wyatt Moreno. They both formed a friendship and union that lasted more than 8 years. Ele is survived by his wife Elisa who now resides with her family in Maryland. Eleazar Moreno, Sr. will be remembered as a loving, devoted, caring, and loyal son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend, but most of all a servant of his savior Jesus Christ.
Visitation will begin at 9am with a Funeral service at 10am at the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Alice, Texas on Monday, April 12, 2025, followed with a Visitation at 12 noon with a Funeral Service at 1pm at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams Chapel in Hebbronville. Burial will follow at the New Hebbronville Cemetery.
