Eva Dominguez

Eva Dominguez, 92, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 in Falfurrias, Texas surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 30, 1919 to Jose Leopoldo Dominguez and Severa Olivarez in La Grulla, Texas. Eva worked for many years as a cook and waitress for many different companies throughout her lifetime. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Jose and Leonel Dominguez, sister Maria Dominguez Davila, grandson Juan Pena III and great-grandson Jaime Miguel Cruz. Eva is survived by her sons Leonel F. (Florencia) Arredondo, Jr. and Jose A. Arredondo both of San Antonio, Texas, daughters Idolina A. Costley and Noemi Arredondo both of Falfurrias, Texas, sisters Amparo D. (Victor) Perez of Monte Alto, Texas and Isabel (Ray Dell) McClaugherty of Hargill, Texas, 19 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 6, 2012 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with visitation beginning at 4:00 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Falfurrias.

Burial will follow at the Falfurrias Burial Park.
