Fernando Garcia Jr.

Fernando Garcia, Jr. entered into eternal rest on Friday, April 29, 2016 at a hospital in Laredo, Texas at the age of 55. He was born on May 6, 1960 to Fernando E. Garcia, Sr. and Elvira Guerra Garcia in Falfurrias, Texas. Fernando worked for many years with the South Texas Swimming Pool Company.

He was welcomed into the gates of Heaven by his mother, Elvira G. Garcia. He leaves behind to cherish his wonderful memories his wife, Sylvia S. Flores of Hebbronville, Texas; his son, William M. Garcia of Rock Well City, Iowa; daughter, Iris (John) Watts of San Antonio, Texas; father, Fernando E. Garcia, Sr. of Premont, Texas; step-children, Norma L. Flores of San Antonio, Texas, Noemi L. Flores of Hebbronville, Texas, Alvar A. (Susie) Flores, Jr. of Hebbronville, Texas and Nora L. Flores of Hebbronville, Texas; brothers, Mario (Janie) Garcia of Falfurrias, Texas, Cris (Noemi) Garcia of Corpus Christi, Texas and Michael (Gloria) Garcia of Premont, Texas; sisters, Grace (Jose Luis) Garcia of Austin, Texas, Gloria (Mario) Lopez of Agua Dulce, Texas, Rosa (Noel) Rosas of Premont, Texas and Mary Lou (Arnold) Morales of Premont, Texas; 12 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Mario Garcia, Cris Garcia, Michael Garcia, Mario Lopez, Alvar Flores, Jr., Arnold Alaniz, Jr.,Adrian Alaniz, Nicolas Soliz

Honorary pallbearers will be David Lee Henry and Jimmy Ray Saenz.

Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, May 2, 2016 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Hebbronville with visitation beginning at 4:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Hebbronville with burial to follow at the Greenhill Cemetery in Jim Hogg County.
