Florinda G. Lopez

Florinda G. Lopez, 97, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2012, at a hospital in Kingsville, Texas. She was born in Falfurrias, Texas on February 17, 1914, to Antonio Gonzalez and Ramona Rendon Gonzalez. Florinda was a housewife. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Feliberto Lopez, Sr.; sons Tomas Lopez, Hector Lopez and Ernesto Cabrera; daughter Eva Hernandez; five brothers and one sister. She is survived by her five sons Feliberto Lopez, Jr., Vicente Lopez, Oscar Lopez, Mario (Doraida) Lopez all of Falfurrias and Humberto (Magdalena) Lopez of Edcouch-Elsa, Texas; daughters Escolastica Garza of Washington State, WA , Elva (Gilbert) Perez of Falfurrias and Lucrecia Renee (Pete) Massey of Flugerville; two sisters Juanita Rodriguez of Edinburg, Texas and Petra Navarro of Premont, Texas; 21 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and numerous great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 5, 2012 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with visitation beginning at 4:00 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 6, 2012 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Falfurrias.

Burial will follow at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Falfurrias.
