Gloria Ramirez Arevalo entered into eternal rest on Thursday, October 22, 2020 at a nursing home in Falfurrias, Texas at the age of 74. She was born on September 15, 1946 to Raul Ramirez, Sr. and Anastacia Perez in Falfurrias, Texas. Gloria was a member of the Catholic Daughters, the FHS Band Booster Club and for several years, she was an officer of the Little League Association of Falfurrias.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ovidio Arevalo, Sr.; daughter, Adriana A. Moreno; granddaughter, Vanessa Arevalo; grandson, Ovidio Arevalo, III; brothers, Rene Ramirez, Luciano Ramirez, Raul Ramirez and sister, Eva Soliz.
She is survived by one son, Ovidio (Davida) Arevalo, Jr. of Falfurrias, Texas; sister, Maria Castillo of Falfurrias; and eight grandchildren, Gina Ann Arevalo, Marla Denise Arevalo, Omar Javier Moreno, Ivan Eden Moreno, Olivia Adriana Arevalo, Jose Gabriel Naranjo, Andrea Michelle Naranjo and Deandre Miguel Naranjo and numerous siblings, nieces and nephews.
Rosary will be prayed at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with Visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Falfurrias.
