He worked for the Kansas City South Railroad for many years before his retirement
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Antonio, Armando and Preciliano Vasquez.
Gonzalo leaves behind many precious memories that will forever be treasured by his wife, Maria Esmeralda R. Vasquez of Hebbronville, Texas; sons, Rene (Patsy) Vasquez of Floresville and Omar Vasquez; daughters, Monica (Eduardo) Reyes of Hebbronville, Adelina Vasquez of Floresville and Irma Vasquez of Hebbronville; brothers, Manuel Vasquez of Corpus Christi and Tomas Vasquez of Hebbronville; sisters, Carmen Mendieta and Sylvia Saenz both of Hebbronville; 8 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and many extended family members.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 starting at 10:00 a.m. with a Memorial Rosary at 11:30 a.m.
