Mrs. Guadalupe Lupita L. Guzman

Guadalupe L. Guzman, 80, passed away on Thursday August 19, 2010 at a hospice center in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was born on February 25, 1930 to Eulalio Lopez and Maria Martinez Lopez in Falfurrias, Texas. Lupita was a housewife who helped her community out in many ways. She was an active member of the VFW, Ladies Auxiliary, Catholic Daughters and the Guadalupanas. She also helped out by making rosaries and candles for the church as well as lending a helping hand at the nursing homes. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Guadalupe Guzman, son Rafael Guzman and many siblings. She is survived by her son Eulalio (Graciela) Guzman of Falfurrias, TX, brother David Lopez of Tivoli, TX, sister Tomasa Lopez of Falfurrias, TX and five grandchildren Eulalio Jr., Roberto, Roel S., Lamar J. and Lorena C. Guzman.

Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday August 22, 2010 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams in Falfurrias.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Monday August 23, 2010 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Falfurrias.

Interment will follow at the Falfurrias Burial Park.
