Guadalupe "Lupita" Ramon

Lupita was born on November 11, 1961 to Heriberto & Ramona Ramon. Lupita lived her 59 years living with her mother, Ramona; together they were best friends and each other's companions.

Lupita lived a life full of happiness. She had a love for cartas and rubber bands, but her greatest love was babysitting. Together with her mother Ramona, she babysat several generations of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. These children were her whole world and happiness.

She will always be remembered for her excitement to greet anyone that would visit her at her home. Those that visited, knew that she would fling open her front door, run down the stairs, and greet you with a huge hug, a hug that only she could give; these are the moments that we will mostly miss.

She is preceded in death by her father, Heriberto Ramon; Maternal Grandmother, Juanita Castaneda; paternal grandmother, Felicidad Garza; Uncle Henry Leal and aunt, Maria Morante.

She is survived by her mother, Ramona Ramon; sister, Beatriz (Carlos) Moreno; brother, Joe (Mariela) Salinas; uncle, Gilberto Guzman; aunts, Hilda Garza and Yolanda Hernandez all of Hebbronville, Texas. Special niece and nephew, Jennifer Hernandez and Ademar Garza who devoted and provided care to Lupita for many years and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Danny Barrera, David Salinas, Orlando Diaz, Omar Garza, Javier Gonzalez and Ademar Garza. Honorary Pallbearers are Gilberto Guzman and Juan "Papo" Garza.

Holy Rosary will be prayed at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams in Hebbronville with Visitation beginning at 8:30 a.m. Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Hebbronville and services will conclude with Burial at the New Hebbronville Cemetery.
