Fathers day will never be the same without you here dad. Not a day goes by that we don't think of you and miss you. It was my privilege to call you Dad on Father's Day and every day in between.  Happy Father's Day in heaven.

The Boy's and I finally made it to go visit You on the 16th Honey. My Sister Sylvia and Mom took us. I couldn't do it anymore I had to go the crying and depression were hitting me bad. We love you so much and we miss you. Send us miracles from Heaven Honey I'm going back to surgery and Ryan will be at Spohn South Hospital. You are our Angel and I know you're watching over us. I wake up everyday crying for you Honey I miss your hugs. Sitting outside talking and holding hands. I still ask you what do Honey? It's so hard being here without you. It's sad when you want to talk to Our Children and you just want a hug be held and cry. I kept telling you to go to the hospital you just weren't you that last weekend you came home. Well Hpney it's a New Year 2021  it's hard not having you around. Your going to be gone 2 yrs and it breaks my Heart.  They told me the 2 yrs is the hardest boy it's so true. It's almost like it's a rerun of that day you left to Your Heavenly Home. Ryan has been having so many melt downs wants to take you flowers and so do I but it's so hard right now. My Kaysen says Mimi I miss Popo. Chelsea too still breaks down alot and cries. You go days without turning the T.V. on but when I ask You to let us know your still here to please turn it on. You do it and I Thank You for that. Hito, Janie, Kayla and the Kid's came for New Year's it was so good to see them again. I felt your presence here but I missed my T.G., Roe and Davin. Oh Honey how I've thought about you everyday. Yes, I still cry for you everyday. I still look and wait for you.  I know I need to let you rest now. Watch over our Daughter Honey the news we are getting from Doctor's is not good. You can talk to God and ask him to heal her. She's Our Daughter and I wouldn't trade her for anyone in the World. Now that the Doctor told me what's wrong I understand what she's been going thru. I'm mad why didn't they catch that when she was a Baby. You were the Best Daddy with Our Children and I Thank God he gave me such a Wonderful Husband. Thank You for the Memories You Blessed me with. All the travels we had. I loved your jokes but not the one when it snowed and you held my head in the snow like Dumb and Dumber but we had a good laugh. It's been 1yr3months since you've been gone. They say the Memories are good well I've got so many. You being right beside me all the time when we traveled. It's not getting any easier I dream you a lot. I still wake up and go to the window to see if you drove up. I still jump when the phone rings wishing it was your voice I would hear. Why, I still ask myself?  It's been 1 year and it doesn't get any better. There's not one day that goes by that I don't think of you I sit outside at night and talk to you. I miss ya, Dad! Life has sure changed in the past year, I still forget your gone and want to call you to share my day with you. It's pretty rough actually but we go on I guess. I love you and wish you were here. 

Had my last conversation with you one year ago today Pop. Before we hung up you told me you were proud of me and you loved me. I'm glad I got to say I loved you too that day. I didn't know it was going to be the last time we spoke. I never got to say how proud I am of being your son. You taught me how to work hard and be a good man. I know I was stubborn at times and did crazy things but you never gave up on me. You  loved me unconditionally no matter what stress I put you and Mom through growing up. Thank you for that Pop. Thank you for making me a better man. I try everyday to make sure I make you proud, I know you are watching me so I won't let you down. I love you, I miss you and I will pass down everything you taught me to my kids. You're still here. I love you.

Honey I Miss You so much it's just not the same without. I still sit here waiting for a call from you or just waiting for you to open the front door saying...Hi Honey I'm home getting my big hug and kiss on my forehead. Thanksgiving was sad didn't do anything you weren't here. Christmas I held it together until everyone left I broke down. I think about you all the time my crying starts I think you know that. Today is Thanksgiving Pop. I miss you so much, wish you were still here. It hasn't gotten easier that's for sure you are one of a kind Pop they broke the mold after you. Love you and miss you.

He is survived by his wife Margarita Cantu of Alice, TX, two sons Humberto (Janie) Cantu Jr. of San Benito, TX, Thomas G. (Roe) Cantu of Corpus Christi, TX and a daughter Chelsea M. Cantu of Alice. Humberto also has four brothers Servando (Cathy) Cantu of California, Ignacio (Hortencia) Cantu Jr. of Corpus Christi, Esteban (Diana) Cantu of Falfurrias, Freddy (Diana) Cantu of Premont, TX, three sisters Elida (Ruben) Perez of Falfurrias, Nora Ann Rodriguez of Corpus Christi, and Alma Rosa (Abram) of Agua Dulce, TX, twelve grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
