Jesus "Jesse" Quintanilla, III

Jesus “Jesse” Quintanilla, III, 30, of Falfurrias, Texas, passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2012 at a hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born on March 1, 1982 to Jesus Quintanilla and Mirna Garza Quintanilla in Falfurrias. Jesse graduated from Falfurrias High School in 2000 and decided to join the United States Army where he proudly served our country in the line of duty for two years in Iraq and three years in Afghanistan as a Sergeant and member of the Army Special Forces until the end of his term. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jesus and Martha Quintanilla; maternal grandfather, Nicolas Garza and uncle, Omar Garza. He is survived by his parents, Jesus and Mirna Quintanilla of Falfurrias, TX, sisters, Monica Morante of Waco, TX and Karina Quintanilla of Falfurrias, TX; maternal grandmother, Maria Emma Garza of Falfurrias, TX; three nephews, Antonio Morante, Jr., Alejandro Morante and Adrian Martinez; two uncles, Nicolas (Norma) Garza, Jr. and Jose (Imelda) Garza; four aunts, Sylvia Maldonado, Endelia Duberne, Celia Mendoza and Maria Robledo; a very close and dear friend Mark Salinas of Kingsville, TX and numerous cousins and friends.

Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with visitation beginning at 2:00 p.m.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Falfurrias.

Burial will follow at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Falfurrias.
