Jose Luis Escobedo entered into eternal rest on Monday, June 5, 2023 at a hospital in Laredo, Texas at the age of 65. He was born on March 14, 1958 to Francisco Escobedo and Leonor Perez in Hebbronville, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Leonel G. Escobedo and Francisco X. Escobedo.
Jose is survived by his siblings, Edwina R. Escobedo of Hebbronville, Eliseo (Mary) Escobedo of Baytown, Texas, Cesar Escobedo of Hebbronville and Cynthia (Jesse) Villarreal of Hebbronville; sisters-in-law, Estela Escobedo of Hebbronville, Susana Escobedo of Los Fresno, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Pallbearers will be Joel Lopez, Javier Lopez, Manuel Cruz, Jr., Angel Cruz, Carlos Villarreal and Eliseo Escobedo.
Rosary will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, June 9, 2023 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Hebbronville with Visitation beginning at 8:30 a.m. Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Hebbronville and services will conclude with Burial at the New Hebbronville Cemetery.
