Joy Sens Dunn passed away on Monday, January 18, 2016 at a hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas at the age of 89. She was born on September 15, 1926 to Herman and Georgia Sens in Weiser, Texas. She worked for many years as a secretary for Dunn Chevrolet. After retirement, she enjoyed spending her time volunteering at the Falfurrias Senior Center. Joy is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bennie Dunn and two daughters, Debra Gress and Judy Dawson. She is survived by her son, Jimmie Dunn of Robstown, Texas; three sisters, Jackie Mills and Betty Thomas both of Odem, Texas and Mary Ann (Kenneth) Hunter of Skidmore, Texas; five grandchildren, Jeff (Desiree) Dawson, Brad (Stacy) Dawson, Jill Dawson, Heather Dunn and Hunter Dunn and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 22, 2016 at the First United Methodist Church in Falfurrias with visitation beginning at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at the Falfurrias Burial Park.
