Juan “Johnny” N. Galindo entered into eternal rest on Thursday, August 15, 2019 at a hospital in McAllen, Texas at the age of 79. He was born on February 28, 1940 to Jose Maria Galindo and Margarita Talamante Galindo in Falfurrias, Texas. Johnny worked for many years as a Ranch Hand for Rowan Companies and raised goats as a hobby. He loved hunting and barbequing with his family.
Johnny is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Anita Vela Galindo; grandson, Juan Luis Alejandro Galindo; brother, Humberto Noel Galindo and sister, Maria Graciela Galindo.
He is survived by his five sons, Javier (Elida) Galindo of Dallas, Texas, Juan Galindo of Premont, Texas, Pedro Galindo, Jesus Galindo and Noel ( Velma Castillo) Galindo all of Falfurrias; one daughter, Margarita (Vednairdo Garcia) Galindo of Falfurrias; brother, Homero (Ramona) Galindo of Houston, Texas; 22 grandhildren; six great-grandchildren; his Pekingese dog, Princess and many extended family members.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 0.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias. Burial will follow at the Galindo Ranch Cemetery.
