Leonel Almaraz Sr. passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at a nursing home in Hebbronville at the age of 93. He was born on August 7, 1926 to Emilio Almaraz and Concepcion Salinas Almaraz.

He was a carpenter before his retirement.

Leonel is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ludivina G. Almaraz; siblings and a grandchild.

He leaves behind many precious memories that will be treasured by his children, Leonel Almaraz, Jr., Elizandra (Johnny) Cantu and Ercilia Almaraz Guerra all of Hebbronville; 9 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren and numerous extended family.

Holy rosary will be prayed on Friday, February 14, 2020 at 9:30 a.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams, Hebbronville with visitation starting at 8:30 a.m.

Graveside services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the Greenhill Cemetery.
