Leonel Ramirez

Leonel Ramirez, age 70 entered into eternal rest on Sunday, November 19, 2023 at his residences surrounded by his family. He was born in Benavides, Texas on April 1, 1953 to Reynaldo Ramirez and Zulema Cavazos Ramirez.

He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Oscar Ramirez, Aida Carrillo and Reynaldo Ramirez Jr.

Leonel leaves many fond memories that will forever be cherished by his wife of 52 years, Azucena C. (Susie) Ramirez of Hebbronville; son, Leonel Ramirez Jr. of Hebbronville; daughters, Patsy Lee (Rene Mario Sr.) Vasquez of Floresville and Sharon (Alan Martinez) Ramirez of Hebbronville; sisters, Bertha R. (Arturo) Vidales of McAllen, Sylvia R. (David) Paez of Laredo, Maria D. (Lauro) Chapa of Benavides and Maria Camacho of Benavides; brother, Reymundo Ramirez of Benavides; sister in law, Anita Ramirez of Benavides; grandchildren, Leonel Ramirez III, Raylee Ramirez, Rene Mario Vasquez Jr., Alyna Aydee Maldonado, Leylani Nicole Ramirez and Luke Ryan Ramirez.

Pallbearers will be Librado Carrillo Jr., Liberando Molina, Alan Martinez, Rene Mario Vasquez, Rene Eden Cantu Jr. and Louis Carrillo.

Honorary pallbearers will be Leonel Ramirez Jr., Leonel Ramirez III and Rene Mario Vasquez Jr.

Rosary will be prayed at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Hebbronville with Visitation beginning at 8:30 a.m. Mass will follow at 12 noon at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Hebbronville and services will conclude at the New Hebbronville Cemetery.
