Leonel Ramirez

Leonel Ramirez, 75, passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at a hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born on March 2, 1937 to Etemiliano Ramirez and San Juanita Garcia Ramirez in Hebbronville, Texas. Leonel proudly served our country in the US Air Force and later became an Electrician. He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Mary Lee Ramirez and all his siblings, Olivia Martinez, Abel, Ramiro “Chico”, Arturo and Librado Ramirez. He is survived by his five daughters, Norma (Mike) Marquez of Plainview, TX, Juanita Ramirez of Florida, Nora (Brian) Adelman of Oregon, Stella (Cedric Johnson) Ramirez and Susana (Jimmy) Johnson both of Corpus Christi, TX; 24 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, ex-wife Tina Ramirez and numerous nieces and nephews.

Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Hebbronville.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Hebbronville.

Burial will follow at the New Hebbronville Cemetery.
