Lolita Martin, 82, stepped into the loving arms of God on Wednesday May 29, 2013 in a nursing home in Bastrop, Texas. She was born on September 14, 1930 to Leland E. Kinder and Velma James Kinder in Hilleman, Arkansas. Mrs. Martin worked as manager for Lieberman’s Dept. Store until her retirement. She is preceded in death by her husband, Golden Steve Martin Sr.; granddaughter, Stacey Mari Martin; sister, Lois Walker; brother, Leland “Buddy” Kinder; infant twin sister, Juanita Kinder.
Lolita is survived by her son, Golden Steve (Mary) Martin, Jr. of Falfurrias, TX; daughter, Deborah Jane (Steve) Martin of Cedar Creek, TX; brother Jerry Kinder; sisters, Constance Kinder Sims, Shirley Elizabeth Guerring and Cova Ann Frayz; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at the Falfurrias Burial Park.
Pallbearers will be Steve Martin, Garrett Martin, Lance Wright, Hunter Martin, Dewayne Martin, and Hilario Ortiz.
Honorary Pallbearer will be Crew Wright
