He was a rancher. He is preceded in death by his parents and daughter Victoria Huerta. He is survived by his wife Belia C. Huerta of Hebbronville; son Lorenzo Huerta III of Victoria; daughters Mary Lee Huerta of Victoria and Sofia Huerta of Mexico; stepsons Frankie Cabello Jr. of San Antonio and Sigifredo Barrera Jr. of Hebbronville; stepdaughters Mary Cabello of Falfurrias and Rosalinda Cabello of Falfurrias; brother Rolando Huerta of Hebbronville; sister Norma Marquez of Plainview; 14 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 7 step grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren.

Rosary will be prayed at 7pm Monday, March 14, 2011 at Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams, Hebbronville

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10am Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church

Interment will follow at the New Hebbronville Cemetery.
