Lydia H. Garza entered into eternal rest on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at her residence in Hebbronville, Texas, surrounded by her family. She was born on January 18, 1949, in Corpus Christi, Texas to Roberto R. Hinojosa and Elena Gamez Hinojosa.
Lydia is preceded in death by her parents; granddaughters, Natalie and Naudia Natividad; and brothers, Marcos and Armando Hinojosa.
She leaves behind many fond memories that will forever be treasured by her husband, David H. Garza; son, Jose Antonio Garza; daughters, Irma Vasquez and Celina Garza all of Hebbronville; brother, Roberto (Corinne) Hinojosa Jr. of Jacksonville, Florida; sisters, Petra (Eloy) Garza of Laredo, Texas and Maria Elena Gomez of Hebbronville; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great-grandchild and many extended family members.
Rosary will be prayed at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, December 15, 2025, at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Hebbronville with Visitation beginning at 8:30 a.m. Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Hebbronville. Burial will be at the Greenhill Cemetery.
