Rebecca C. Ramirez

Rebecca C. Ramirez, 79, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, July 21, 2013 at a nursing home in Victoria, Texas. She was joined inside the gates of Heaven by her parents; Juan P. and Victoria G. Cantu and her husband, Matias Jose Angel Ramirez. Rebecca was born on October 1, 1933 in Brooks County, Texas. She was a strong and dedicated woman who finally found peace. She lived her life in service to others not only as a wonderful and loving housewife, mother and grandmother but as a housekeeper and caretaker to many.

Rebecca leaves behind to cherish her memories her daughter, San Juanita “Janie” Ortiz and son-in-law, Rene Ortiz of Victoria, Texas and her two granddaughters, Leticia Irene Ortiz of El Paso, Texas and Victoria Renee Ortiz of Oceanside, California.

Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias, Texas with a visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Encino, Texas with a viewing beginning at 8:30 a.m.

Burial will follow at the Cantu Villarreal Cemetery in Encino.

Pallbearers will be: Leticia Ortiz, Rey Cantu, Johnny Cantu, Tomas Cantu, Javier Ramirez and Oscar Ramirez, Jr.
