Rodolfo R. Montalvo entered into eternal rest on Sunday, May 13, 2018 at a hospital in Laredo, Texas at the age of 93. He was born on January 22, 1925 to Abel Montalvo and Endelia Salinas in Jim Hogg County, Texas. He was a proud USA Army Veteran.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Olinda G. Montalvo; son, Rodolfo Montalvo, Jr. and siblings, Roldan, Roel, Ramiro and Rosabel Montalvo.
Rodolfo leaves behind to cherish his memories his sons, Joel Montalvo of Hebbronville, Texas and Juan Jose (Vilma) Montalvo of Alice, Texas; daughters, Priscilla (Juventino) Garcia and Carmen (Juan) Gamez both of Laredo; sister, Rebecca Hinojosa of Zapata, Texas; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m. with a Holy Rosary to be prayed at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams in Hebbronville. Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Hebbronville. Services will conclude with the burial at the New Hebbronville Cemetery.
