Roel J. Sandoval, better known as R.J., passed away on May 25, 2020 at a Kingsville Hospital at the age of 60. R.J. was born February 11, 1960 to Albino Sandoval, Jr. and Maria Nilda Hinojosa in the town of Falfurrias, Texas. He grew up in Kingsville, Texas, attended H.M King High school, and graduated Class of 1978. He went on to pursue a degree in Education, graduating with a Bachelor of Science from Texas A&I University at Kingsville. He owned and operated a restaurant in Las Vegas before his retirement.
R.J. is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Albino and Gregoria Sandoval of Hebbronville, Texas and his maternal grandparents, Ramon and Aurora Hinojosa from Falfurrias, Texas.
R.J. is survived by his parents; Albino Sandoval, Jr. of Corpus Christi, Texas and Maria Nilda Silbas of Falfurrias; two sisters, Ruby Sandoval Allen of Falfurrias and Ruth Ann (John) Hall of Portland, Texas. Also surviving are his nephews and nieces, Jason (Catey) Allen, Jeffrey Allen, Janel Allen, Dyan Loggans and Jake Hall, and several great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation will start at 9:00 a.m. with a Chapel Service at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 30, 2020 at Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams. Services will also be live-streamed on our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/FDAHowardWilliams/
