Ruben “Juby” Vasquez entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at a hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas at the age of 60. He was born on October 17, 1959 to Benito Vasquez and Anastacia Guardian in Hebbronville, Texas.
Ruben worked at the Wyatt Ranch as a ranch hand.
He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Nora Vasquez; mother of his children, Jackie Vasquez and niece, Melissa Vasquez.
Ruben leaves behind many fond memories that will be treasured by his children, Venessa (Rene Ramirez) Vasquez, Ruby (Raul Sauceda) Vasquez and Alyssa Vasquez all of Hebbronville, Ruben (Heather Canales) Vasquez of San Antonio, Texas and Benito (Annette Gonzalez) Vasquez of Hebbronville; siblings, Benita (Placido) Vasquez of Hebbronville, Oscar (Luisa) Vasquez of Lufkin, Texas, Norma (+Joe) Reyna, Alicia Vasquez and Vicky (Robert) Rodriguez all of Hebbronville; 15 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Benito Trevino, Jo Frank Reyna, David Vasquez, Placido Vasquez, Jr., Danny Rodriguez and Oscar Rodriguez. Honorary Pallbearers will be Benito Vasquez, Ruben Vasquez, Jr., Oscar Rios, Raul Sauceda, Rene Ramirez, Robert Rodriguez and Placido Vasquez Sr.
Holy Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, August 10, 2020 at Funeraria Del Angel Howard - Williams in Hebbronville. Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Hebbronville. Services will conclude with a Burial at the New Hebbronville Cemetery.
