Shirley Bailey

Shirley Bailey passed away on Monday, December 15, 2014 in Hebbronville, Texas at the age of 48. She was born on July 13, 1966 to Leo Marle Bailey and Margarita Castaneda Bailey in Big Springs, Texas. Shirley was currently working as a Certified Medication Aide for the Meridian Care Nursing Home in Hebbronville. She was a very hard working woman who was dedicated to her career for over 15 years.

Shirley was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She loved helping others and was a very outgoing individual. She also enjoyed watching movies and spending time with her family. Her grandchildren meant the world to her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Margarita Bailey. She is survived by her husband of over 15 years, Juan Gutierrez of Hebbronville; two sons, Rusty (Dawn Gonzalez) Bazan of Hebbronville and Walter Morgan of Bastrop, Texas; her daughter, Margie Alicia (Salmon) Cavillo of Dallas, Texas; two brothers, Ted McGee of Corpus Christi, Texas and Joseph (Ida) Bailey of Dallas; two sisters, Debra Gonzalez and Betty Bailey both of Hebbronville; eight grandchildren, Monica, Anabel, Jennifer, Rogelio, Kevin, Phillip, Madisynn and Rusty, Jr.; one great-granddaughter, Victoria; 18 nieces and nephews and 12 great-nieces and nephews.

A Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Hebbronville with visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 19, 2014 at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Hebbronville. Burial will follow at the Greenhill Cemetery in Hebbronville.
