Teresa De Jesus Garcia entered into eternal rest on Thursday, July 23, 2020 at a hospital in Kingsville, Texas at the age of 84. She was born on February 21, 1936 to Martiriano Garcia and Petra Lopez Garcia in Realitos, Texas. Teresa was a cook at Strickland’s Restaurant in Falfurrias for a few years until she retired. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing and watching TV.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Esther Bazan, Maria Garcia, Oscar Garcia, David Garcia, Chano Garcia and Manuel Garcia.
She is survived by nieces that took care of her, Mary Longoria of Falfurrias, Tina Garza of Corpus Christi, Texas and great-niece, Laura Longoria of Falfurrias; sister, Rebecca Garcia of Houston, Texas and many more nieces and nephews.
Chapel Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, August 10, 2020 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with Visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Falfurrias.
