Viola was preceded in death by her mother; two brothers, Ruben Mejia and Guadalupe Ramos, Sr.; two sisters, San Juanita Ramos and Rosie Mireles and a niece, Erica Ann Cantu.
She is survived by five sisters, Debra (Antonio) Morales of Victoria, Texas, Aurora (Jesus) Davila of Premont, Texas, Maria Arrellano, Graciela (Juan) Charles and Liliana Garcia all of Falfurrias; several nieces, nephews, great nephews and a great niece.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 6, 2017 with a Rosary being prayed at 7:00 p.m. at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, July 7, 2017 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Falfurrias. Burial will follow at the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
