Virginia G. Perez, 75 passed away Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at a Corpus Christi hospital. She was born on February 8, 1935 in Agua Nueva to Julio Garza and Endelia Ramirez Garza. She was an Assistant Clerk for the Jim Hogg County Library before her retirement. She was a member of Guadalapanas and the Orden Franciscans Seglar

Virginia is preceded in death by her parents; husband Alvaro Perez; nephews Oscar and Elmo Garza. She is survived by her sons Rene (Rose) Perez and Alvaro Perez Jr. all of Corpus Christi; daughters Anna Lisa Perez of Corpus Christi, Melissa P. (Juan) Gonzalez of Kingsville, and Iris Isabel Perez of Kingsville; brothers Uvaldo (Rosa) Garza of Hebbronville, Raul (Aida) Garza of Hebbronville, Julio (Teresa) Garza of Hebbronville, Elmo (Judy) Garza of Dayton, Tx., and Joel Garza of Hebbronville; 5 grandchildren Vicki (Manuel) Recio, Angela (George) Torres, Rene Saul (Ulyana) Perez III, Juan Gonzalez III and Melissa Yvette Gonzalez; 4 great grandchildren Trista Ana Gonzalez, Gabriella Recio, Johnathan Quinones, and Marivel Recio

Rosary will be prayed at 7pm Friday, March 12, 2010 at Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams, Hebbronville

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10am Saturday, March 13, 2010 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church

Interment will follow at the New Hebbronville Cemetery

Pallbearers will be Juan Gonzalez III, Rene Saul Perez II, Manuel Recio, George Torres, Raul Gerardo Garza, and Jorge Garza
