Ana Maria Hernandez, age 85, of Berwyn, Illinois passed away on Wednesday, February 9, 2022. Beloved wife for 59 years, of the late Timoteo "Tello"; loving mother of Ana Maria (Edward) Espinoza, Patricia (Frank) Diaz and Blanca Elisa; cherished grandmother of Ana Elisa, Elisabeth, Mara Rebeca, Daniel and Michael; fond sister of the late Juan Manuel Aguilar.

Funeral Monday 9:15a.m. from Woodlawn Funeral Home 7750 West Cermak Road, Forest Park, Illinois to St. Leonard Catholic Church, Berwyn Mass 10a.m. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation Sunday 3-8p.m.

Ana Maria came to Chicago in 1956 from Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. While caring for her husband and family held a full time job and retired after 24 years of service from the Chicago Public School System. She was a bilingual community representative and teacher's aide working for Komensky and Cardenas Elementary Schools. She was a devoted family woman who cherished her husband, children, and grandchildren. Her family unity was always her priority.

Ana was a strong woman of family and faith, who lived her life devoted to both. She will be dearly missed by all who loved her.
