Catherine A Costabile

Catherine “Cathy” Costabile (nee Holtrop), 81, of Westchester Illinois (formerly of North Riverside) passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on February 4, 2024. Catherine was born January 2, 1943, to the late Harry and Mary Holtrop. Catherine was married to the late Sam Costabile, and they had one beautiful daughter, Harriet Costabile. Harriet loved her mother dearly and truly has lost her best friend. She was an amazing sister to Roseann Maffei (Joseph) and the late Harriet Materazzo (Fiore). Catherine lived a full life. She was a loving Aunt, great Aunt, great great Aunt, cousin to many, and a friend to everyone she knew.

Catherine worked as a clerk at the North Riverside Library for many years.

Catherine found joy in anything she did, but her favorite times were spent with her family.

Visitation for Catherine will be held on February 8th at 4pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 7750 West Cermak Rd in Forest Park. Funeral Mass will be held on February 9, 2024, at 10:00 am at Mater Christi Catholic Church, 2401 South 10th Avenue, North Riverside, Illinois.

Committal Service will be held on February 9, 2024, at 12:00 pm at Elmwood Cemetery and Mausoleum, 2905 North Thatcher Road, River Grove, Illinois.
