

Corinth was born in Beech Bluff, Madison County, Tennessee on March 29, 1931.
His mother and father's names were unknown. He was raised by his maternal grandfather, John Woods, and step mother, Bessie Woods.
Corinth's first marriage was to Alma J. Hobson from 1952-1972. His second marriage was to Betty A. Hobson from 1973-2022.
Children of Corinth and Alma J Hobson (deceased): David W. Hobson (son), Margaret A. Hobson (spouse), Barbara J. Carter (daughter), Robert Carter (spouse). Grandchildren of Corinth and Alma J. Hobson: Natalie Monique Hobson, Eric Guadalupe (spouse), Candace Elizabeth Hobson, Philip D. Hobson, Andre Lamar Carter, and Alan Lemuel Carter, Alexis Alisa Smith (partner). Great Grandchildren: Charvone Carter, Alisa Valencia Jean Carter, Lemuel Robert Aesir Carter, Alayna Alexis Renae Carter, Naomi Elizabeth Grace Guadalupe, Corey Alexander Hobson. He is preceded in death by Jimmy Hobson (brother), T. Willie Hobson (brother), and Mae Rachel (sister).
Corinth's favorite hobbies were golfing, bowling, bid whist, and gardening.
Corinth attended Merry High School in Jackson, Tennessee, graduating class of 1949. He attended Lane College in Jackson,Tennessee from 1949-1953.
Corinth worked as an animal research technician at The Veterans Health Administration, U.S Department of Veteran Affairs Hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Hines V.A. Hospital in Maywood, Illinois (1954-1997), and Loyola University Medical Center (1997-2001). He also worked as a transportation aide for the handicapped in the Maywood, Melrose Park, and Broadview School Districts from 2001-2015.
A visitation for Corinth will be held Saturday, February 19, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Alpha Missionary Baptist Church, 240 South Schmidt Road, Bolingbrook, Illinois 60440. Followed by a funeral service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, officiated by Pastor Bruce Kirk. An entombment officiated by Minister Dr. Barnest Patton will occur Saturday, February 19, 2022 from 1:15 PM to 1:45 PM at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 7750 West Cermak Road, Forest Park, Illinois 60130.
