Edward W Racan

Edward W Racan, age 72, of La Grange Park, Illinois passed away on Monday, January 3, 2022. Beloved husband of Karen nee Nichols; loving son of Edward (Helen) Racan and the late LaVerne "Pat" Racan; dear brother of Cynthia (James) Webb, Bradley Racan, Beth (Randall) Wagner, Phillip (Gayla) Kitzer, Diane Kitzer Gross, Richard (Roselle) Kitzer and the late Alan (Maureen) Kitzer; fond uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Ed worked as a custodian at Lyons Township High School until his retirement. He was living at Golden Years Retirement Home in Lyons where he enjoyed the company of the other residents, and the caring staff. Ed was a caring and kind soul who loved to talk to everyone. He loved making people smile. He also loved any and all animals. His jovial personality will be missed by many.

A visitation will be Saturday, January 15, 2022 from 10 a.m. until services at 12 noon, at Woodlawn Funeral Home 7750 West Cermak Road, Forest Park, Illinois. Mask be worn at all times while in the funeral home. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery Forest Park, Illinois.
