Emilio Rene Villarreal

Emilio Rene Villarreal passed away on May 16, 2021 at the age of 90. His battle with COPD in recent years showed his courage in facing life challenges with laughter and a smile. His greatest pleasure in life was being surrounded by family, friends, music and laughter as well as putting a smile on everyone's face with his infectious charisma. Rene will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather and great friend to many. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Dolores; sons Rene, Eduardo (Elizabeth) and Rolando (Janet); and grandfather of Miguel, Jax and Zofia. He will be dearly missed and always remembered by all that knew him.

A funeral mass for Emilio will be held Friday, May 21, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. in Woodlawn Funeral Home, 7750 West Cermak Road, Forest Park, IL 60130, family request anybody coming to mass please arrive as close to 11:45a.m. as possible. They would like everyone in chapel and seated prior to start of mass. This will be followed by a visitation from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. We ask that everyone attending any of the services at Woodlawn Funeral Home please wear a face mask while in the funeral home. Also absolutely no food will be allowed due to the Pandemic. We appreciate your understanding.
