Gilbert J. Tetik, age 89, longtime resident of Berwyn, passed away July 5, 2011 in Newport Beach, CA. Beloved husband of the late Gladys; loving father of James A. Tetik and Janet (Stuart) Vogelsmeier; proud grandfather of Bradley and Lauren Vogelsmeier; brother of the late Bernice Paitl. Gilbert was a WWII Navy veteran, and was a lifelong employee of General Motors, having worked in their Electro Motive Division in McCook. Visitation Tuesday 3 to 8 p.m. at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 7750 W. Cermak Rd., Forest Park. Funeral Wednesday 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery.
