Gloria was a life member and past queen of Jobs Daughters, Bethel #39. As a diehard Cubs fan, her zeal for the Cubs was a source of much joy. Her summers were spent with family and friends at their Michigan summer home. She also enjoyed many trips to her family's favorite fishing spot, Red Lake in Canada. As the daughter of a tailor, Gloria had a talent for handiwork. She was always busy crafting and sewing. In addition to being a mother of two, she was employed in office management and as a book keeper. Gloria and George celebrated their 50th Golden Wedding Anniversary on June 21,1991. Her knedliks (potato dumplings), baseballs (fruit dumplings), and kolackys are fabulously famous! Her recipes have been handed down with love to future generations. She was very proud of her grandchildren, delighted with how the family grew and so happy to be an integral part of their lives. Such wonderful memories. She will be truly missed, but never forgotten. We love you grama!
Cremation rites will be handled privately. She will be entombed in the DesPlaines Mausoleum of Woodlawn Cemetery surrounded by her family.
