Here's the story I told Cisco's family I would enter in the Guest Book. This post is on FB about Cicso Moore (RIP) & shows what a special man he was.... 1 night, as tour 3 was ending, I was at my desk in Leave Control when Charles Lawson (RIP) yelled 4 help as Veronica Washington (RIP) had stood up & collapsed in the Security Office. I ran & opened the Security Office door as Charles was lowering Veronica 2 the floor. I grabbed the phone 2 call 911 & saw SDO Theodore Blanton walking past L/C. I called him, he came in the office & began CPR until the paramedics arrived. As they worked on Veronica, a crowd was gathering at the large Security window. Being "change of shift", people were going in & out, the crowd was growing. Everyone wanted 2 know/see what was going on. Ted sat at the L/C window & I was behind him when I noticed the "crowd". I was waving them away & being ignored. I was about to walk around out 2 the window when Cisco appeared right up front in the middle of that window. We locked eyes. He smiled at me, covered that window with a couple of broke down gay lords & moved everyone away. He just stepped up & did what needed 2 b done providing the privacy & dignity needed & deserved. Speaks to this man's character as well as his being special. RIP my friend, I just can't believe you are gone! Blessings always!

My deepest condolences to the family and friends of this kind man. I don't think anything better can be said of anyone than that they were kind to their fellow travelers on this earth, and that was definitely Cisco. 

I worked with Cisco at the North Suburban postal facility from 1986 to 1991. Hard to believe I only worked with him for 5 years, because he made such a memorable impact on me. He was always kind, funny, helpful, and encouraging. When North Suburban split into 2 new facilities, I went to Carol Stream and Cisco went to Palatine, but he always sent his greetings. I left the Postal Service in 2000 but thought of Cisco often -- actually, whenever I smelled patchouli!  I only recently reconnected with Cisco on FaceBook. 

Every time there is patchouli in the air, I will think of him and smile!

RIP Cisco, going to miss our chats together. You would always stop by the house before going to work at the PO, talking about what we did in military and the fun we had overseas. My condolence to the family.

Some of my most happy childhood memories are the times we spent playing in the backyard with You, Michael, Belinda, Yolanda and Tim.  I will always cherish the fun and laughter we shared. "You will forever reserve a special (happy) place in my heart".

Anyone who has ever been a customer of the Post Office's Processing Center in Palatine who came across Cisco likely knows how he went above and beyond for people. What a huge caring heart.

It's how he and I came about being good friends. Outside of work, he was just as caring. My prayers go out to Cisco's family, friends and loved ones.

As he spreads his wings and continues to soar may God's promises keep him dear and near in our hearts and minds until we meet, again.

Cisco was one of the friendliest, most compassionate, and welcoming people I have ever known.  He kept the music going.  His light in this world will be greatly missed.  It was my very good fortune to know him.
