Jack Cecil Sopkin beloved husband of Karen Sopkin passed away on February 27, 2024, at age 90. He is survived by his wife Karen, stepson, Greg Stuart, and his 5 children Dawn Glaser (Tom) Terry (Michelle) April (Thor) Robby ( Barbara) Greg (Rebecca). Jack had 15 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Jack was a lieutenant in the army stationed at Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas for two years. He held a successful career in Commercial Real Estate before his retirement. Jack was an avid reader and loved first-run movies. He enjoyed handball at the Y, golf, scuba diving, traveling, and watching the Bears. He and his beloved wife Karen resided in Stamford, CT
A visitation will take place from 10am-11am on Saturday March 9, 2024 at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 7750 West Cermak Rd, Forest Park, IL, 60130. A prayer service will follow promptly at 11am at Woodlawn Funeral Home. The Interment will be private.
