In Loving Memory of Jennifer Anne Julius

Jennifer Anne Julius, age 50, of Berwyn, Illinois, passed away Friday, August 27th, 2021, after a brief and fierce battle with cancer, held by her loving husband, PJ Julius. She died at Loyola Hospital in Maywood, Illinois. She was born December 30, 1970 in Evergreen Park, Illinois. She grew up in La Grange Park, Illinois and graduated from Saint Francis Xavier Catholic School and Lyons Township High School. She attended Southern Illinois University for a year, where she met her husband, PJ. Jennifer and PJ then settled in Berwyn, Illinois, in 1991, where they have been living ever since and raising their children. Jennifer was a devoted mother to her children and an unrelenting disability advocate for her son, Max. In addition to Jennifer’s many years of volunteering with local schools, she worked as an aid at the Emerson/Heritage School library, from 2018 to 2020, where she was beloved by students and the school community.

Jennifer Anne, known affectionately as Jennie, was a devoted mother, dear wife, loving friend, helpful school volunteer, and beloved family member. She will be remembered for her quick wit, love of her family, passion for history and reading, kindness and intelligence, and maker of the best chocolate chip cookies.

Jennie is survived by her husband of 22 years, Pj Julius, and two children, Max and Frances Julius, her mother, Barbara Young, parent in-laws, Paul and Helen Julius, siblings Nancy Runkel, Stephen Young, Susan Just, Thomas Young, Geri Schlueter, Scott Young, Carolyn Heredia, Julie Haugen, James Young, Amy Staubus, and Barbara J. Young, brother-in-law, David Julius, and by many, many loving aunts and uncles, in-laws, and nieces and nephews.

Jennie will be missed, treasured, and never forgotten.

A memorial service for Jennie will be held Friday, September 10, 2021 from 3:00PM to 8:00PM at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 7750 West Cermak Road, Forest Park, IL 60130.
