Just short of his 100th birthday, Leo Perry Sainati, 99, of Riverside, who was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 64 years, Flora Ann Sainati (Belluomini) passed peacefully in his home, on Feb 21, 2016. Fond father of Leonard and Perry (Jeanne), loving Nonno to Cristina and Nicholas (Gabrielle) and a mentor to many. Preceded in death by siblings, Nello, Irene (Guintoli), Daniel, Jerry and Bruno.He was an MVP baseball pitcher for the Fighting Illini and was signed by the Chicago White Sox. After serving in the U.S. Navy, he joined his brothers in opening Precision Machine Shop in Cicero, which has evolved into Belden Universal Inc. and Belden Machine Corp.
