Marion D. Kirin, nee Blazina, age 81, lifelong resident of Lyons, passed away April 3, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Joseph K. Kirin, Sr.; loving mother of Joseph K. Kirin, Jr., Patricia Kirin, and Laura Orfei (nee Kirin); dear sister of Raymond (Barbara) Blazina, Robert (Anne) Ruzic, and the late Steven, and Donald Blazina; dear niece of Irene Nelson (nee Gudac), and fond aunt and cousin of many. Longtime member of Croatian Fraternal Union Lodge 228/32, Sloboda Athletic Club, and Club Hreljin. Lifetime member of a group known as her extended family, “Her Dearest Friends”, who she enjoyed, spent time with, and treasured in her heart - at work or play. Visitation Sunday 2-9 PM at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 7750 W. Cermak Rd., Forest Park. Prayers Monday 9 AM at the funeral home, going to St. Hugh Catholic Church, Lyons, for a 10 AM Funeral Mass, where her life will be celebrated. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, IL.
