July 17, 2006 - June 7, 2025
With heavy hearts but celebrating a life filled with love, laughter, and boundless joy, we announce the passing of Noah Aidan Alicea, 18, of Chicago, Illinois, on June 7, 2025.
Noah was born on July 17, 2006, in Chicago, where he spent his entire life uplifting others. A 2024 graduate of UIC Preparatory High School, Noah had already begun building the life he dreamed of, working at Euro Auto Plex where his passion for cars turned into more than just a job—it was pure joy. What started as working on his first car blossomed into a true passion, and few things made him happier than spending time in the garage working on cars with his big brother Aramis. His colleagues will remember his infectious enthusiasm and the way his eyes lit up whenever he talked about the latest project under the hood.
Family was everything to Noah. He always made sure to greet his mother with an enthusiastic "Madre!", a big hug and ask how her day was, cherishing their time together watching movies or simply talking about the day. On days he got home late from work, the first thing he would ask was "is mom ok?" Whether dropping by his G-Ma's house for coffee, hanging out with his Uncle Nick and Aunt Heather, or spending time with his cousins, these moments of connection meant the world to him.
And nothing made Noah happier than the love he shared with Jessica Martinez, the love of his life. Their bond was a beautiful testament to young love at its purest, filled with dreams, laughter, and endless possibilities.
Noah had a gift that touched everyone he met—he greeted the world with a big smile and an even bigger hug. His presence was magnetic; he had the remarkable ability to light up every room he entered, making strangers feel like old friends and turning ordinary moments into treasured memories. His warmth was genuine, his spirit infectious, and his heart enormous.
Noah is survived by his devoted mother, Bayana Tirado, and step-father Nilo Soto; his loving father, Ricardo Alicea, and step-mother Phyllis Alicea; his older sister, Mariyah Baca; his older brother Aramis Alicea and baby brother Ricardo Alicea Jr.; his grandparents, Andrea and Luis Tirado, and Jose Galloza; his aunts, Miriam Tirado, Heather Morales, and Stephanie Galloza; his uncles, Roger Hernandez and Nicholas Morales; his cousins, Jaeda Martinez, Aiden Hernandez, Tony Ramirez and Ozzie Miranda III ; his beloved Jessica Martinez; his best friends, Bryan, Milton, and Fur; and countless other friends whose lives he touched with his radiant spirit.
Though Noah's time with us was far too brief, the impact he made was immeasurable. He lived fully, loved deeply, and brought joy wherever he went. His legacy lives on in every smile he inspired, every hug he shared, and every life he brightened simply by being himself.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Noah's memory by sharing a smile, giving a hug, and spreading the same warmth and joy that he brought to this world every single day.
A visitation for Noah will be held Sunday, June 15, 2025, from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 7750 West Cermak Road, Forest Park, IL 60130.
Funeral mass will be at 11am on Monday, June 16, 2025, at Our Lady of the Holy Family, 1334 W. Flournoy, Chicago, IL 60612. Services will conclude at church.
