Raymond F. Fiedler

Raymond Fiedler, age 80, longtime resident of Oak Park and summer resident of Assembly Park, Delavan, WI, passed away November 27, 2013. Beloved husband and best friend for 58 years of Catherine (nee Quinn); loving father of Barb (James Walsh) Touchett; Kathleen (Gary) Gray, Ray (Kim), Bob (Kate), Michael (Karen) and Tom (Lisa) Fiedler; proud papa of Megan, Jessica (Jorge), Emily (James), Matt, Timothy (Sarah), Jenna (Dan), Kathryn, Annie, Charlie, Jillian, Maggie, Jordan, Brooks, Michael, Sarah, Nicholas, and William; dear great-grandfather of Evelyn, Harper, Jackson, Sophia, Delilah and Quinn; fond brother of Marguerite (the late Richard) Crema, Betty (Skip) Roth, Nancy (the late Allen) Ryan, Janet (Donald) Campbell and the late John (Clara) Fiedler, as well as a dear cousin and uncle to countless others. The Fielder family would like to thank the staff at Rush University Medical Center for their compassion and excellent care of Ray. Visitation Sunday 2-8 PM at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 7750 W. Cermak Rd., Forest Park. Chapel Prayers Monday 9:00 AM, going to Ascension Catholic Church, Oak Park, for 10:00 AM Funeral Mass. Military burial honors will be bestowed after mass before a private interment.
