Roy H. Kallas, age 96, longtime resident of River Forest, passed away October 12, 2014. Beloved husband of the late Dr. Emerita Alcantara-Kallas and the late Meta Kallas; loving father of Robert and the late William (Janet Hepner) and late infants David and John Kallas; proud grandfather of James and Michael (Terri) Kallas; dear great-grandfather of Samuel, Peter, Andrew, Nathan, William and Michael Kallas; fond brother of the late Charles Kallas and kind uncle of two. Roy was a Worthy Grand Patron of the Grand Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star of Illinois. Visitation at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 7750 W.
