We are deeply saddened by the passing of our dear friend, Therese.  Over the years Ted and Therese became more than friends; they became family.  We miss Therese, terribly, but she will live on in our hearts and memories until we meet again.

I am so sorry to hear about Aunt Therese's passing, there is never anything anyone can say to make things easier for you. She was a great woman, lots of fun, very caring.  I still remember the times on your boat in South Haven...I think JW was a few weeks old the first time he went for a ride! I always loved Aunt Therese and am very sorry you and the family lost her, but she will always be with you until you meet again. I know my dad, Jimmy and Christopher welcomed her with open arms and are showing her around up there! You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Always sad to see a fellow boater move on. But atleast we can be sure that Therese will be enjoying warm sunshine and calm seas every day now. May she guide and protect Captain Ted and his family as he navigates through life by himself but yet never to be alone under her watchfull eye. Our deepest regrets to the Schaefer family for the loss of a great woman.

Ken and I met Therese through boating.  Therese always had a smile on her face, and was very good to both of us.   Therese we will miss you. You and your family are in our prayers.  Ken and Judy Franks (LaPorte, Indiana).

Therese would always stop and give you a hug and smile as she walked down the dock at Harbor Landing.  We will miss her and offer our prayers to Ted and his family at this sad time.
