Violet Ostheimer, age 62, of North Riverside, IL was sent to her eternal rest on February 26, 2016. Loving sister to Don Moore and Bill (Pamela) Ostheimer, niece to Joan Nelson, adoring cousin and aunt to many. Precious daughter to the late Frank and Violet Ostheimer. Violet enjoyed working most of her years at Ceco Industries and Illinois State Medical Society. Her passion over the last 7 years was watching Buddy the Eagle and other rescues at the Wildlife Center of Virginia in Waynesboro. She met and enjoyed time with many new friends through this organization. Violet loved her family and friends deeply. She was a kind, gentle and compassionate individual. A rare gem. Visitation will be held Thursday March 3, 2016 from 2-8pm and Friday March 4 from 10 am until time of funeral service 11 am at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 7750 W. Cermak Road, Forest Park.
