Alex Charlie "Hak Keong" Cheng

Alex “Hak Keong” Cheng, 56, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 with his family by his side, at St. Joe Hospital. Born in Selangor, Malaysia, he was a son of the late Cheng Kum War and Koh Geok Kian, who survives. He was a Civil Engineer with Dickmeyer and Associates Engineers for several years. He was loved by his family and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife, Rhonda (Miller) Cheng of Fort Wayne; three daughters, Rachel (Cody Geiger) of Churubusco, Ind., Allison Cheng and Stephanie Cheng, both of Fort Wayne; two grandsons; sister, Loo Yee; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, July 11, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 3705 S Anthony Blvd, Fort Wayne, IN 46806, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be on Thursday, July 10, from 2 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Hockemeyer and Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46835.
