Betty J. Sowers, 94, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Saturday, March 6, 2021. Born on January 2, 1927, in Van Wert, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Clifford Miller and Guenna (nee Thatcher) Schawartz.
Betty and her late husband, Donald, operated Northcrest Electronics, a TV repair business, and she loved spending time with family at Pretty Lake. Betty is survived by her daughter, Linda Koger; son, Gary (Patricia) Thompson; son-in-law, Jim Fredrick; eight grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald G. Sowers; and daughter, Karen Fredrick.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:30pm, Wednesday, March 10, 2021, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home (6131 St Joe Road, Fort Wayne), with calling one hour prior. Burial will be in I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Convoy, Ohio.
