Charles "Chuck" A. McLain

Charles “Chuck” A. McLain, 64, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Friday, March 30, 2018 at Lutheran Hospital. Born March 18, 1954 in Hillsdale, Mich., he was a graduate of Lapeer High School. He furthered his education at Oakland University, Concordia River Forest and IU and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1976-1979. He was a letter carrier for 33 years with the United States Post Office and was a member of First Assembly of God for over 30 years. He is survived by beloved wife of 44 years, Sue (Budzier) McLain of Fort Wayne; son, Shawn (Jessica) McLain of Fort Wayne; daughter, Carrie Ann (Steve) Todd of Sun Prairie, Wis.; five grandchildren, Charlie, Gabriella, William and Harrison McLain, and Devin Todd; brothers, Dan (Linda) McLain of Birch Run, Mich., and Jim (Deb) McLain of Davison, Mich.; and step-sister, Charlotte (Robert) Donnell of Ann Arbor, Mich. He was preceded in death by his father, Eldren McLain; mother, Donna (Clower) McLain; and step-mother, Margaret (Noblit) McLain. Funeral Service will be 11:00 am on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at First Assembly of God, 1400 W. Washington Center Rd., Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Calling will also be from 2-4 & 6-8pm on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at Hockemeyer and Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Rd., Fort Wayne. Burial at Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
