

Donald “Jack” Milton, 78, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2025. Born in Crawfordsville, Indiana, on February 15, 1947, he was the son of the late Robert W. Milton Sr. and Theda J. Milton.
Jack adored his grandkids and great-grandkids, always making time to be with them and creating countless cherished memories. After retiring from GTE, he embarked on a new chapter by running two of his own businesses. His passion for teaching led him to Indiana Tech, where he shared his knowledge and experience. In addition, he found joy in selling real estate, always eager to connect with people. Jack’s dedication to lifelong learning was evident when he earned his Master’s Degree in Business from Indiana Wesleyan University. Outside of his professional pursuits, he cherished the outdoors, finding great joy in golfing and fishing with his daughters and grandkids.
He is survived by his daughters, Allison (Jeffrey) Stineburg and Barbara (Jeffrey) Ritchie; grandchildren, Jocelyn Wilson, Calvin Stineburg, Jackson (Maria) Stineburg, Vanessa (Simon Perez) Wilson, Anna (Fredrick) Tippmann, Andrew Stineburg, and Isabella Stineburg; great-grandchildren, Jolene Tippmann, Mary Anne Tippmann, Loretta Jean Tippmann, and one more expected in June. He is also survived by his brothers, Robert Milton Jr. and Terrance (Sherri) Milton.
Jack was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Roberta Jean Milton, and his sister-in-law, Charlotte Milton.
Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Sunday, December 7, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 8, 2025, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne with calling one hour prior. Interment will follow at Highland Park Cemetery, where Jack will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife, Jean.
