Doris Maxine Mock, 92, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on Thursday November 2, 2023, at home surrounded by family. She was born on December 27, 1930 in Ohio City, Ohio to Everett and Florence (Debolt) Crone. She graduated from York High School in Ohio City where she was a cheerleader. She married Robert C. Mock on March 14, 1954. She was particularly proud of being 90 years old and still working five days a week at All American Stores. She was known as “Grandma” to all and gave hugs to many of her customers. She was an active member of the American Legion Post 82 Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by four sons; Steve (Diann), Garry and Kevin of Fort Wayne and Randy (Karen) of Albion, eighteen grandchildren and twenty-five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years Bob, brothers, Don and Dean Crone and two grandchildren. A visitation for Doris will be held Tuesday, November 14, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St Joe Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46835. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at 11:00 AM, 6131 St Joe Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46835. A visitation will occur Wednesday, November 15, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 6131 St Joe Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46835.
